A woman was arrested by Catoosa Police and later charged with child neglect after she left her baby alone in a car for hours while she was inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
CATOOSA, Okla. — A woman was arrested by Catoosa Police and later charged with child neglect after she left her baby alone in a car for hours while she was inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
On May 31 at around 3 p.m., police responded to the casino after security noticed the child alone in the car.
Once police arrived on scene and saw the child, the mother, identified as Dacie Yeager, came out of the casino and claimed that she had only been inside for 20 minutes.
Police said this was later found to be not true after security camera video showed that she was inside the casino for several hours.
She was later booked into Rogers County jail, but has since bonded out.
The child is OK and was placed in the care of child welfare.
Yeager has been charged with child neglect and has a preliminary hearing set for July 15.
