Snoqualmie Casino has extended its free transportation service for employees to Auburn and Kent, joining existing shuttle bus stops in downtown Seattle, Bellevue, and Renton as it broadens the reach of one of its employee benefits over a wider area.
Other employee perks include free meals at work and 40-cent-per-gallon discounts on gasoline at the nearby Crescent Market for employees who drive, plus health, retirement, and other benefits.
Located off Interstate 90 about halfway between downtown Seattle and Snoqualmie Pass, the casino launched the employee bus program in 2019 and has provided more than 65,000 safe commutes over that span, according to a news release. The program’s original and only pickup location was in Covington.
The program is designed to provide a safe and reliable way for team members to get to and from work, while helping to reduce traffic congestion and benefiting the environment, the release added.
The employee bus program is in addition to the existing bus transportation service utilized by casino guests, which employees also can use.
“We aim to continue building on the routes that we have launched today to provide an accessible place to build careers,” Stanford Le, CEO for Snoqualmie Casino, said in the release. “Together with the attractive benefits we offer and positive company culture, our hope is to attract more candidates from the areas surrounding the new bus routes in Auburn and Kent.”
The casino had 56 open positions as of this morning.
