The Desert Rose Casino in Alturas was damaged by fire Thursday.
ALTURAS, Calif. 3:07 P.M. UPDATE – The suspect who was arrested has been identified as Calob Matthew Gersalia, 25.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect is a fomer employee of the casino. Gersalia is due to be arraigned on his charges on Tuesday. 
The Modoc County Sheriff’s Office says the case is under investigation as they still process evidence.

A person is in custody as part of an arson investigation at a casino in Modoc County.
Investigators released a video, showing a person of interest.
Fire damaged the Desert Rose Casino in Alturas Thursday morning. Firefighters contained it to the offices of the casino. They said it was intentionally set.
Friday afternoon, the Modoc Sheriff’s Office took a person into custody. Action News Now contacted the sheriff’s office, but they did not confirm if the person who is in custody, is the person seen in the surveillance video. They said the investigation is continuing.
