Gateway Casinos and Entertainment made the announcement Wednesday, adding that Playtime Casino Hanover would reopen the same day.

All slots and e-tables will be available, Gateway said. Table games at Cascades will open as regularly scheduled at 3 p.m. daily.

Match Eatery & Public House in Chatham will open at 4 p.m. and Match in Hanover will open at 5 p.m. Both will offer a limited menu for the evening.

“We will continue to reopen our businesses in Ontario over the coming days,” company officials said in a release. “Please visit the Gateway property websites or social channels for the most up-to-date information. We look forward to welcoming our customers and employees back.”

Gateway, which operates 14 casinos in Ontario, continues to reopen its locations in stages. London’s Gateway Casino reopened Monday.

Each site must be inspected and approved by its regulators, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., beforehand.

Gateway first reported the ransomware attack on its IT systems April 16. After learning of the breach, officials closed its Ontario operations and hired third-party professionals to restore its systems.
