CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) of San Bernardino County will hold a Casino Night fundraiser 5:30-9 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Upland Hills Country Club Pavilion, 1231 E. 16th St., Upland.
Proceeds from the event will support the Court-Appointed Special Advocates program, which recruits, screens, trains and supervises community volunteers to mentor and advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children living in foster care.
“The community’s support is of vital importance to the success of our program,” Diane Smyers, donor relations manager for CASA of San Bernardino County, said in a news release. “This event is one where community members can  join us to learn how our program supports children in foster care, and how they can positively impact a child by becoming involved in various ways, all while enjoying a great evening.”
The event will feature casino games, music, entertainment, food, exhibits and raffles prizes.
Jason Anderson, San Bernardino County district attorney, will speak at the event, and a number of San Bernardino County elected officials will attend, according to the news release.
Tickets are $125, available at tinyurl.com/casacasinonight or by calling 909-881-6760, ext. 105.
CASA of San Bernardino County serves more than 200 youth each year, with more on the waitlist, according to the news release.
