LINCOLN, R.I. (WJAR) — Bally's Twin River Casino is introducing a new way to gamble.

On March 5, the casino will unveil table games and slots that Rhode Islanders can play online, at home.
The bright flashing lights, music, and the wins will soon be at the convenience of your fingertips.

"I mean we're only the seventh state in the country to do this," explained Bally's President of Rhode Island Operations, Craig Eaton.

Rhode Island lawmakers legalized at-home gaming last June.
The casino built a table game streaming studio with live dealers at its Lincoln location.
"The live gaming product is very exciting." Eaton continued. "Not many states do that at all. So depending on demand we are ready and have room to grow."
Bally's expects the live tables to operate on a 24/7 basis in the near future.
Eaton explaining, "It's going to end up being 40-60 full time employees, when we're done. And we spent close to 5 million dollars constructing this."
The Rhode Island department of Revenue says I-gaming is expected to contribute nearly $25 million a year in new revenue by 2025.

Paul Grimaldi, with the Rhode Island State Department of Revenue, said revenue will go into the general fund, which will eventually "help pay for roads, help pay for schools, and helps pay for police and mental health services."

State gambling laws will still be enforced online.
All "at-home" players are required to be current Rhode Island residents and over the age of 21.
