Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band’s debut album this summer. Known for their bluesy riffs with a touch of country twang, hits such as “Gimme Three Steps,” “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Tuesday’s Gone” and jam-frenzied anthem “Free Bird” remain staples of American classic rock.

Whitney: A Musical Tribute, 3 p.m. Thursday, Showroom, Tropicana Atlantic City.
Queen of the Night is a musical tribute to the late Whitney Houston. It is a celebration of the life and music of one of the greatest singers of our time, Houston. Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, 8 p.m. Saturday, Superstar Theater, Resorts Casino Hotel, Atlantic City.
This is the original Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards that was founded in 1997 with mutual arrangements between the Temptations’ original member Otis Williams and the late Temptations member Dennis Edwards. The group continues to perform the top classic hit songs of the Temptations, including “My Girl” as they take audiences of all ages down memory lane.
Tickets were $35, $45 and $55 and were available at ticketmaster.com, but they are all sold out now.
