An alligator made its way into the parking lot of WaterView Casino on Washington Street just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Vicksburg Daily News arrived promptly on the scene to document the event.
The alligator nestled itself behind some foliage in the lot. Multiple officials quickly responded to ensure the safety of both the public and the reptile.

After being safely secured by the authorities, Vicksburg Daily News continued their coverage by tracking the officials as they transported the alligator to a more suitable environment.
The creature was carefully loaded into the back of a Vicksburg Police Department cruiser before being released back into its natural habitat, ensuring a safe and happy ending for all involved.
