BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Osage Casinos Bartlesville Hotel and Casino opened after holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning. 
The 153,151-square-foot Bartlesville venue is the second Osage property opened in 2023. It was first announced in 2021, construction beginning shortly afterward. 
“This exciting venue was worth the wait, and we are thrilled to finally welcome the Bartlesville community to enjoy this space,” stated Osage Casinos Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Pearson.
“This will greatly benefit, not only the Osage Nation, but also the entertainment industry in Bartlesville and the surrounding area,” Principal Chief of the Osage Nation Geoffrey Standing Bear said.
The entertainment venue features 521 slot machines, a 6,000-square-foot meeting space and 102 hotel rooms. 
The hotel includes a fitness center and an outdoor area with a pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy during their stay.
The casino will hold a new restaurant and bar called “Scissortail.”
“Anyone wanting to experience premiere gaming, dining and entertainment will have a convenient location to do so right here in Bartlesville,” Standing Bear said. “We are grateful for the hard work and perseverance by Osage Casino and Hotel leadership, employees and our partners in construction to get this new location up and running.”
The venue sits on 125 acres of property, and due to its large size, the Psage Nation and the City of Bartlesville had to partner in creating an upgraded utility and water service. In shared costs to accommodate this change, Osage Nation paid $4 million. 
“Bartlesville is an economic driver for our state,” Pearson said. “This new casino helps us support our Nation as well as the thriving business community in the area. We are grateful for our partners along the way that helped create an entertainment venue that will be a hub for business and fun in Bartlesville.”
Due to the new casino officially opening, the existing location closed on Nov. 8.
